The initiative is a one year pilot project that involves providing PDAs with on-line Best practice resources to front-line nursing staff to help improve evidence-based practice, patient outcomes and enhance quality of work-life for nurses.

Saugeen Valley Nursing Center partnered with North Wellington HealthCare Alliance (Louise Marshall Hospital, Palmerston Hospital and Groves Memorial) and were successful in receiving 14 tablets.

We plan to use these tablets to assist in bedside nursing & assessment, accessing drug-based formularies and best practice information.
